    Ok i just joined this site because a friend told me about it and I'm interested in uping the horse power in my 06 jetta.  I have currently two L7 12" Kickers powered by a 1800 watt amp.  After i get a capaciter for the amp im planing on doing so...  moreOk i just joined this site because a friend told me about it and I'm interested in uping the horse power in my 06 jetta.  I have currently two L7 12" Kickers powered by a 1800 watt amp.  After i get a capaciter for the amp im planing on doing some more things to the car.  This is all ive done to the car so far and now that i have subs im looking to make the horse power much greater. Im not sure where i can get parts compatable with my 06 2.5L Jetta.  Im just looking for sugestions that will add lots of horse power and where i can get the parts.  I would love the help and any sugestions people have.    Thanks, Jake  less

      Sarina Correa Welcome Jake! As for boosting up the power in your Jetta, how many hp are you looking to get too? If I am not mistaken the 2.5 is running about 150hp. So you might be able to get to 175 if you are ready to drop a few grand in a chip, intake, and exhaus...  moreWelcome Jake! So you might be able to get to 175 if you are ready to drop a few grand in a chip, intake, and exhaust. I'm not sure how much power that engine can handle since most of the guys here have VR6 or 1.8T or 2.0T. I looked your car up on Unitronic and they claim to be able to take your to 168hp for $350. There are several companies that offer flash for your car...Urotuning here in Tampa has GIAC and you can get APR up in Orlando. Just go on Vortex and see what others have done. Personally, I would not even mess with it, and trade it in for something that has more HP to start with. The 2.0T is running 200hp or the VR6 R32 at 250hp...all stock of course. But that is just me!  less

      Jake Johnston Then ill just leave it alown because trading it in isnt an option at the time and i will get a custum head unit because ive been lookin at one of thoes as well. Thank you for the advice and information Sarina.
