Yes that is an issue, along with many more. Owning a VW is frustrating but driving one is like no other. You will find many love hate relationships with them. Be thankful for warranties!

I just realized his is cam shaft. I was thinking cam follower. On low rpm if I stomp the gas, it "cuts out " for a half sec then kicks back in.
